Role

Are you a highly organised individual who enjoys working as part of a high energy team? Do you understand the benefits of play and early intervention in a child’s development and wellbeing and want to coordinate and evaluate the delivery of a programme to support this? Do you have experience as a line manager of a small yet complex team? Then this may be the job for you.

As a lead member of the PlayTalkRead office team you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery and operations of the PlayTalkRead Roadshow, including partnership working, scheduling locations, logistics and staff rotas plus evaluation and marketing of the service we provide.

This office based role is vital in supporting our playworker team who travel across all of Scotland’s 32 local authorities on our fleet of bespoke vehicles to inspire and support parents and carers to interact with their babies and little ones through fun, simple and inexpensive activities. You will delegate tasks and responsibilities to our wider office team to utilise individual skills and interests to ensure our Play Worker team have the information they need to deliver sessions across Scotland.
