Up2Us is a dynamic and innovative third sector organisation, recognised by the Care Inspectorate as “going the extra mile” in providing home care services and community support to children and young people who have experienced difficulties in childhood and need support in their journey to adulthood. We have recently re-structured the organisation and are looking to expand our team to prepare for some of the exciting developments we have planned.

We have a number of vacancies for residential care staff in Howood, Lochwinnoch and Kilbirnie. Staff work in pairs within our houses and are supported by Seniors, Service Managers and a Duty On Call system operating 24 hours per day. A three-week shift pattern is in operation and staff must be able to work anti-social hours including nights, weekends, and public holidays, although these are shared equally amongst a team of 6 staff in each house.
The ability to care about and communicate with children and young people is the most essential requirement, and we are happy to train and support unqualified staff. We are open to applications from staff new to this field of work as well as those with experience and qualifications.
A driving licence is essential.
