Rock Trust is Scotland’s youth homelessness charity. We provide a range of housing and support services to young people aged 16-25 at risk of, or experiencing homelessness. Our Mission is to prevent youth homelessness and to support young people to build better futures.
Our aim is to end youth homelessness in Scotland by ensuring that every young person has access to expert youth specific services to assist them to avoid, survive and move on from homelessness.
We are delighted to advertise this new role within our Communications and Fundraising Team. You may come from a fundraising background, or a sales background looking for a change of sector, then it’d be great to hear from you.
This role supports our delivery of our fundraising strategy and increases our capacity to reach grassroots supporters and local businesses in the new geographic areas we now operate in. The role is new, and whilst we have existing community fundraising activities in some regions, this is a fantastic opportunity to make this role your own, and develop a strong presence in new areas.
Your time will be spent researching new prospects, cultivating relationships that can support our work and amplify our voice. You will advocate for Rock Trust at events, gatherings, individually and online and you will identify, develop and deliver fundraising activities and events that generate income.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, is able to prioritise their own work, can work autonomously and with a range of stakeholders both internally and externally. We need someone with well-developed communication skills and who can work alongside a diverse range of people.
