SAMH are recruiting a Welcome Team Practitioner to join our existing team to support the person centred delivery within Edinburgh Thrive South West Welcome teams. With this exciting role, you will carry strengths based conversations with people using the service to identify needs and personal outcomes through a Thrive Conversation and Thrive Plan. You will assist and support people to establish and maintain meaningful and fulfilling links in the community and support them to find the right help when needed including social, therapeutic and medical interventions.

We will expect you to establish strong and sustainable relationships in the community which will increase awareness and engagement of the project and promote building resilience to enable behaviour, culture and community change around stigma and discrimination.

To be successful in this post you will meet the essential criteria, core competencies, behaviour and skills listed in the role profile and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering outcomes for vulnerable adults; and knowledge and experience of working in the field of mental health and wellbeing.
