We are looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to join our small Arts Charity based in Finnieston. This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and growing organisation and be part of our accounting team. This is a varied and hands on role that encompasses all areas of accounting for a small charity, from bookkeeping and raising invoices through to the preparation of quarterly management accounts and budgeting. We require 16hrs per week, based in our office, either 2 full days, or 4 half days.
Candidates will need to have formal accounting qualifications and demonstrable experience: a minimum of ICB membership with 5 years senior bookkeeping experience, or AAT level 4, with 3 experience in a similar role.
You will need to be able to work autonomously, take full responsibility for maintaining the books, be confident and have strong communication skills.
