Are you a self-motivated and experienced development worker? Are you interested to work with a new charity that supports people with chronic clutter and hoarding habits, which uses peer support and self-help? Do you think that you can help support us to reach our vision?
Clutter Chat is a newly established charity that uses structured peer support groups to encourage, inspire and support people with chronic clutter and hoarding issues. In July 2020 we became a Scottish Charity Incorporated Organisation (SCIO).
We have two peer support groups that meet regularly which are facilitated by our members (Peer Supporters). We are based in Glasgow. We used to meet in person and would like to do so again. Since the pandemic began, we have been using Zoom to hold meetings. There is more about what we do on our website: clutterchat.co.uk
We have been awarded a Community Fund grant from the National Lottery and we are now seeking an experienced Development Worker to help us support the Peer Supporters who facilitate the groups, identify proposals to grow the membership and to develop our ideas.
A Job Description is available for download below.
