About Equally Safe, Falkirk

Aberlour has partnered with Barnardo’s and Falkirk Council to deliver a person-centred, trauma-responsive domestic abuse service through a whole-family approach using the Safe & Together model. The programme will support survivors while also working directly with perpetrators, where appropriate, to support them to change their behaviour and recognise the impact on women, children, young people and families.

Training on the model will be provided.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a full time and part time (18 hours) support worker for this 18-month pilot project. You will be required to be flexible with your approach and available to work potential weekends, evenings and public holiday to meet the needs of the families you would support.

You will have relevant experience and a sound knowledge of domestic abuse and the impact on the children and adult survivor and relevant theory in attachment and parenting. You will hold a relevant professional qualification at SCQF level 7 or above and will be committed to participating in the Safe & Together training
