Waverley Care are recruiting for a Health Improvement Coordinator to provide support to people from African communities, living in Forth Valley.
The post holder will deliver key prevention and support activities, as well as working to tackle HIV-related stigma across the region, while maintaining partnerships with key figures within the community. Service delivery will include both in-person and digital delivery, taking a person-centred approach to service user needs.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of people from African communities in Scotland.
You will be able to demonstrate experience of working with African communities, as well as vulnerable groups, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with a range of service users and stakeholders.
Access to a vehicle and ability to travel is essential given the community-based nature of the role.
