About the role

We are looking for a dynamic and committed individual to join our leadership team. Working with a supportive, capable and friendly multidisciplinary team, this new clinical leadership role reports to our Medical Director and will support us to continue to strengthen and develop our service and organisational impact.

This rewarding and exciting role will be key in ensuring that effective, efficient and appropriate care is delivered across all WDP adult and young person service types.

As part of this clinical role, you will:

  • Provide excellent leadership, line management, developmental and practice development support to senior clinical roles (excluding prescribers).
  • Lead on clinical modelling and improvement against internal and external clinical standards, including CQC KLOEs and NICE guidelines.
  • Focus on supporting high quality, high impact, value for money delivery, leading on specialist skills deployment.
  • Oversee qualification monitoring and clinical training, including the development and delivery of clinical training and embedding of trainee, assistant and student roles.
  • Lead on clinical quality assurance, risk and safeguarding.
  • Work collaboratively with lead clinicians, service leads, and subject matter experts to ensure effective development and performance management of clinical staff and to support skills development across non clinical practitioners.
  • Maintain high quality dialogue and public relations with partner agencies and commissioning bodies, supporting the development of effective strategic relationships.
  • Be a clinician (nurse, medic) with the associated up-to-date registration in place

There is an expectation for the successful candidate to be able to work across our service hubs, as well as occasional travel to our head office in London.
