About Equally Safe, Falkirk

Aberlour has partnered with Barnardo’s and Falkirk Council to deliver a person-centred, trauma-responsive domestic abuse service through a whole-family approach using the Safe & Together model. The programme will support survivors while also working directly with perpetrators, where appropriate, to support them to change their behaviour and recognise the impact on women, children, young people and families.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a practitioner trained in the Safe & Together Model to join this 18-month pilot project. You will be supported to access Train the Trainer accreditation if you do not already have this. You will be required to be flexible with your approach and available to work potential weekends, evenings and public holiday to meet the needs of the families and other workers you will be supporting.

You will use your knowledge of the model to train others and help build accredited training capacity across Falkirk. You will help provide support to other practitioners across the partnership to ensure compliance with quality standards and promote best practice.
