This role will support the strategic focus in developing the volunteer programme and increasing the contribution of volunteers, taking Marie Curie to the forefront of volunteering in the UK.

It will also support in the development of a high-quality volunteer experience for all those who choose to give their time to Marie Curie.

The role will cover the Scotland region and will be responsible for a high quality volunteer and volunteer management experience in this region.

You will be a team player and have demonstrable experience of being able to communicate and collaborate with people at all levels.

You will support the development of new and existing volunteer opportunities that give a significantly greater number of people the chance to support and engage with the charity, and help deliver the strategic objective of the charity to be better known and understood, growing volunteer support and delivering more care to patients and families.

Responsible for the management of the regionally based Volunteering Development Officers, you will have previous experience of leading and managing a high performing team.
