Role

West Lothian Women’s Aid (WLWA) is the sole charitable organisation in West Lothian working to provide information, support and accommodation to Women experiencing domestic abuse in the area.

We currently have a vacancy for Part-Time Children and Young Person’s Support Worker to join our fantastic team of dedicated professionals supporting women and children to recover from Domestic Abuse. The post is for 28 hours per week (Tuesday-Friday office hours), plus participation in an out of hours on-call rota (once every 5-6 weeks).

The post is based in West Lothian and attracts a salary of £13.02 per hour with additional pay for on-call duties and a contributory pension scheme on offer).

The preferred candidate will be qualified to SVQ level 3 SVQ level 3 (Children and Young People) or other relevant Childcare Qualification (E)and will have at least 2 years of experience working with vulnerable client groups and casework experience. The successful candidate must be a driver with access to their own vehicle.
