Health Trainer, Greenwich (30 hours per week) 1 year fixed term contract.

The service

We are a newly integrated service comprising of 3 well established drug and alcohol services in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Since April 2020 WDP have been providing support to individuals across the borough, offering a broad range of recovery orientated, high quality interventions to meet the needs of our Service Users and their family members.

The role

As Health Trainer you will develop, promote and deliver bespoke training packages to our key partners and stakeholders. Supporting our BRIC Coordinator in promoting our service throughout Greenwich and ensuring all agencies are aware of our service provision and referral pathways. Develop health and wellbeing materials to promote key health messages to service users and staff. Provide advice and information to clients regarding public health services, supporting attendance and engagement with these services (GPs, dentists, sexual health services). Raise the profile of the service at health promotion events across the borough.


• Salary band of £21,018 per annum pro rata

• 1 year fixed term contract

• 30 hours per week


This role will be located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich (821 Woolwich Road,) providing a service across the whole borough but based Charlton. You may be required to work from a number of satellite services throughout Greenwich Borough where you will be support the local community in various locations. The nearest train stations are Charlton and North Greenwich Station.
