This is an exciting opportunity to join Children 1st Parentline.

Children 1st Parentline is more than just a helpline.

It is a national digital family support service which provides one easy point of immediate access for families to receive a range of support bespoke to them, to help them cope with the challenges they face whether practical or emotional. Children 1st Parentline has over 20 years of experience of supporting parents and carers and its aim is to be there for families to forge relationships with families so that they trust the service and can turn to it at times of pressure and overwhelm. Through its relationships with parents and carers, Children 1st Parentline supports whole families to be resilient and stronger to prevent their situations escalating.

If you have the experience and skills to undertake the following, then we want to hear from you:

  • Finance and budget monitoring and returns.
  • Quality assurance data checks on interaction forms entered onto our database, identifying and correcting errors and report production as required (training provided).
  • Promoting the service. Includes telephone and written communication, distributing publicity materials, keeping records of contacts and materials distributed.
  • Handling enquiries about the service, word-processing, filing, telephone/reception work.
  • Ensure confidentiality is maintained in all Children 1st Parentline procedures, in accordance with Children 1st policies.

This is a fixed term, part time post of 28 hours per week, funded until 31 March 2023. Working pattern is negotiable.
