Are you a member of SCVO who would like to support the diverse, thriving voluntary sector to grow, evolve and succeed? At SCVO, our mission is to support, promote and develop a confident, sustainable voluntary sector. We’re looking for two new Board Trustees, elected from our membership, to help us achieve our aims. If you work for one of our member organisations, you’re eligible to apply for one of the vacancies and we want to hear from you.
The SCVO Board of Trustees has responsibility for our strategic governance and direction. The Board oversees our activities and sets a vision for the organisation. The Board also makes sure we fulfil our charitable purpose and deliver our strategic plan, through good governance.
The SCVO Board is made up of up to 11 trustees. Six trustees are elected from our membership. Five trustees are co-opted, including our convener. As a member of the SCVO Board you’ll:

We want a diverse Board of Trustees that’s representative of the wonderfully diverse voluntary sector. With your input to the Board, we can innovate and find fresh ways of thinking to help us better meet the needs of our members and the voluntary sector.
