Role

Teapot Trust enhances the lives of children, young people and their families suffering the impact of chronic and long-term conditions which are often “invisible’ e.g. rheumatic diseases. Our expertise is in the delivery of art therapy – often effective where talking therapies have failed. We work throughout the UK in hospitals, communities and online. Now ten years old, the charity has an exciting vision for the next ten – to be a recognized and respected leader in Creative Health as it becomes more mainstream.

Roles

We would like to appoint 5 new trustees in two steps – by December 2021 and March 2022, having considered succession planning. Below are the priority roles we seek to fill first.

  1. A qualified and experienced CA to chair the finance sub-committee
  2. A parent with lived experience of caring for a child with a chronic condition
  3. A strategic fundraiser – preferably with experience of large public funding bids

Prior experience as a trustee would be advantageous.

Trustees’ Meetings take place 6 times a year in alternate months while the Finance sub-committee meets monthly.
