Three Sixty is an independent mental health charity based in Ayr and supporting people across South Ayrshire who are affected by mental illness. We work to promote mental wellbeing, reduce social isolation, raise awareness of and challenge the stigma and barriers associated with mental illness.
To achieve this we provide information, advice and activity based support for people aged 16+, including their families and carers. We engage with communities through our outreach service to develop services that reflect what people need and want.
This is an exciting time to join Three Sixty as we begin work on our ambitious 4 year strategy to develop our service, increase our profile, impact and reach so people feel connected and empowered to create positive change in their lives.
We are recruiting a Service Manager on a 1 year fixed term basis to support the development of our outreach service.
The role involves managing and leading a team of Outreach Workers, volunteers and at times, students as they set up and deliver group based and 1:1 supports and personalised outcome plans.
The ideal candidate will have a qualification in social care, community, health or a similar discipline as well as experience of managing and leading staff, developing community projects, proven project management skills and a solution focused approach. You will be confident in building and nurturing teams and relationships with the ability to work flexible with autonomy.
Your excellent communication skills will allow you to establish and develop strong relationships with stakeholders. Proficient in IT skills and using online communication tools you will be confident preparing reports and data.
Travel throughout South Ayrshire and further will be required.
