Autism Initiatives is an established organisation that meets the needs of people with Autism, their families and carers. We are looking for an individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to coordinate the Learning and Development function for Autism Initiatives in Scotland.
Working closely with the Head of Learning and Development, the Coordinator will ensure that all staff receive the necessary training and learning opportunities they need to deliver the best possible service to people with autism. You will research requirements and learning opportunities for professional development in response to identified training needs, and continually review existing opportunities and assist in making any changes to those provided. You will also assist in ensuring training costs are recorded and maintained within agreed budgets.
Competent in the use of IT systems, the post holder will lead on the implementation and use of IT systems to manage and analyse Learning and Development data. You will have the ability to effectively communicate information to staff at all levels (individually and in group settings) through high quality reports, presentations and training sessions.
Knowledge of working within a Learning and Development environment is essential, preferably within the social care sector. Some travel throughout Scotland will be required.
The successful candidate must be willing to apply for a require a Basic Disclosure through Disclosure Scotland. Autism Initiatives will incur the cost of the application.
