The Kilmadock Development Trust (KDT) has secured funding through the Development Trust Association from the Supporting Communities fund to employ a Development Officer/ Community Engagement Officer for 3 years on a full-time basis, hours can be flexible.

We are looking for someone with relevant qualifications and experience to work with the KDT, involving engagement with the local Community Council, the Community, external stakeholders and funders on community projects. This will involve identifying funding streams to allow major community projects to progress and consultation with the community and the development of a Community Plan and Local Place Plan. The suitable candidate should be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, excellent interpersonal, presentation and IT skills. They will be proactive, able to work on their own initiative, provide reports and plans working strategically. Salary 28k per annum, position will be based from the Centre, but homeworking will be encouraged as appropriate. The position requires someone educated to degree level and/or previous experience in these areas.
