We make a difference to family carers in East Dunbartonshire. We are currently seeking a Treasurer to help drive our strategic plans forward as we plan for the retirement of our current Treasurer who steps down in November 2022.
You would be part of a small and local board of management (currently 9 members) all with a mix of business, health sector, HR, marketing and voluntary sector skills and experiences. Importantly, we also involve people with experience of providing unpaid care to family members as either an adult or as a young carer.
Our Board meets 5 times a year (currently via Zoom) and there are also 3 Financial Sub Group meetings in-between. The Treasurer will be expected to attend at least the majority of these and also to report to the organisation's wider members at the annual general meeting. Between meetings and e-mails, we anticipate involvement being no more than 5-10 hours over the course of a month.
