Zero Tolerance works to end violence against women and girls (VAWG) in Scotland by changing attitudes and behaviour so that VAWG is not tolerated at any level of Scottish society and abusive men are held to account.
We are at an exciting place in our journey. Zero Tolerance will celebrate 30 years of campaigning in 2022 and we are just about to launch a new 4-year strategy with the following priorities:
1. Strengthen understanding of emerging and neglected forms of VAWG to enable more inclusive and impactful prevention activity
2. Drive improvements in media reporting on VAWG
3. Embed gender equality and VAWG prevention in children and young people’s environments
We are looking for more and different voices to join our board and support our work. We want Zero Tolerance to be a place where feminist leadership happens at all levels and are committed to welcoming Board members from all background. Previous Board experience is not required as we will provide new trustees with full support, including a ‘buddy’ to help learn and develop as a Board member.
