Role

An exciting post has arisen for a Volunteer Co-ordinator within Kingdom Abuse Survivors Project to develop and co-ordinate all elements of counselling volunteering within the organisation.

The Volunteer Co-ordinator will be responsible for liaising with universities, colleges and other counselling training bodies. All recruitment, training, development and support of all counselling volunteers and placements within KASP.

Applicants will hold a recognised counselling qualification, have experience of providing services to vulnerable client groups and have proven experience of all aspects of managing training and retaining volunteers.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation and have the ability to motivate others.

Post will be based in Kirkcaldy and will involve travel across all areas of Fife.

There will be an opportunity to do some work from home.

Subject to PVG check

This post will be required to be registered with BACP or COSCA
