Due to the current postholder going on parental leave, we are seeking someone to help implement our fundraising strategy, focusing primarily on the small/medium Trust and Foundations – preparing and submitting bids, reporting, cultivating relationships with potential and existing funders and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Trust Fundraising experience would be advantageous but not essential.
Line managed by the Trust & Statutory Fundraiser, you will be a member of Support Services and work closely with the whole Move On team.
What we are looking for:
We are seeking a candidate able to combine research and organisational skills with the ability to tell a compelling story to attract attention and meet funders’ criteria. You need to be flexible, share our ethos and be committed to our values: inclusive, empowering, innovative, and sustainable. You should be driven by the belief that with appropriate support everyone can fulfil their potential.
Move On works with disadvantaged people, supporting them to achieve positive change in their lives and preventing homelessness. From our four bases in Glasgow and Edinburgh we provide a range of services including: training, community based intensive support, employability, mentoring, volunteering opportunities, guidance, advice, and information. Our services enable people to develop life and employability skills, build positive social networks, grow in self-confidence, gain qualifications, and sustain a job.
What we can offer you:
We strive to ensure that Move On is a great place to work by supporting, developing, and valuing our people. We offer:
