Inclusion Alliance is a small not for profit organisation person-centred community-based daytime service supporting adults with high support needs to lead ordinary lives in their communities. We are looking for a proactive and motivating person to look for new activities and experiences. Your work would also include supporting the man to access social, leisure and learning opportunities in the community.
The person has his own car and enjoys visiting a variety of places therefore a car driver with the relevant licence and experience would be beneficial although not essential. He also enjoys bus and tram travel as other forms of transport for variation and being part of the community. His wheelchair is sometimes required as a form of transport.
Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be committed to working in a person-centred way ensuring that support is built around this person’s wishes and needs. No experience or formal qualifications are necessary as full training and skills development is provided.
