Age Scotland is the national charity for older people. We work to improve the lives of everyone over the age of 50 so that they can love later life.

We support and enable hundreds of community and older people’s groups across Scotland. We provide information, friendship and advice through our free helpline and publications. We tackle loneliness and isolation with our Community Connecting Service and much more.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fundraising and Marketing Manager to join the Fundraising and Marketing team at Age Scotland.

The purpose of this role is to develop and implement the fundraising and marketing strategy and manage, direct and support the fundraising and marketing team to meet ambitious annual targets, whilst keeping expenditure within agreed limits.

You will be required to maximise core and restricted income with a focus on individual, legacy, community and corporate fundraising and charitable trusts and grants funding.

With a focus on brand management, website development and direct marketing to cover the full marketing mix across multiple media channels you will raise the profile of Age Scotland

The successful applicant will have a successful track record in fundraising and achieving or exceeding targets and broad experience of the full fundraising mix – individual giving, community, corporate and charitable trusts and grants.

The post will be based in Edinburgh.
