The purpose of the role is to support our Quality & Improvement Manager to lead Business Improvement across Blackwood. This will include developing and maintaining our Project Management Framework and delivering key projects, ensuring alignment with our Strategy, Business Plan and Risk Management System. The role also includes leading and developing all Information requirements for Blackwood, including all legislative / statutory changes.

We are looking for someone who can work with our Business Services Team to drive the highest level of performance, stopping at nothing to ensure we are continually improving for our customers and ready to bring new ideas to the table. With a strong focus on the use of project management and business improvement tools and techniques, the successful candidate will have experience in leading business improvement projects and can flexibly organise and prioritise workloads.

With a good external focus, you will also assist in developing our Information Management function, being able to research and develop our knowledge of what is happening in both the Housing and Care Sectors, both from legislative and statutory perspectives. This will require networking with partner and peer organisations alike, as well as staying close to the political environment.

Our Quality and Improvement Officer will support our Quality & Improvement Manager with a confident and proactive outlook and excellent team working skills. You will be passionate about continuous improvement and will bring a dynamic and innovative approach to the role, supporting us to maintain our outstanding reputation within the care and housing sector.
