Role
We are looking for an experienced, ambitious and enthusiastic individual to deliver CVSI Enterprise Project for Inverclyde’s Communities (EPIC) which is funded by the United Kingdom Shared Prosperity Fund. EPIC is an ambitious project that aims to develop and build the capacity of Inverclyde’s Social Enterprise Sector. The postholder will work across four deprived areas of Inverclyde. Offering a tailored and bespoke programme of intensive support and provide tools to develop and grow social enterprises through tendering for contracts and generating income from charitable sources.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be experienced in working with community organisations and possess relevant knowledge of developing and creating social enterprise structures. You will be able to build relationships with ease, bringing with you experience of working across multiple sectors and organisations. You will have an interest and understanding of key policies and the social enterprise national landscape

We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic individual to support the delivery of CVS Inverclyde’s Community Enterprise Project (ICE) which is funded by the Scottish Government, Investing in Communities Fund. The aim of the project is to work with community organisations and residents to help regenerate and build capacity across areas of deprivation.
Reporting to the Project Manager the postholder will be responsible for developing and supporting both existing and new social enterprises across the locality. You will build and manage data of community groups, residents, and interest groups, co-creating and maintaining a geographical community map. You will bring experience of developing relationships with communities and individuals. Duties will include designing, planning and delivering engagement activities.
The purpose of the Social Enterprise Development Officer role is to support and develop social enterprise activity within the third sector, working with key stakeholders and strategic partners to promote the social economy within the Falkirk & District area. Promote social entrepreneurship, through awareness raising events, knowledge exchange and peer networking within the third sector and with local and national strategic partners.
The Third Sector Engagement Officer role involves supporting the organisation’s third sector engagement function by providing administrative support to several third sector forums and networks, alongside our membership organisations and wider third sector.
To support capacity building within the third sector in Dundee to access funding from funders, leveraging money into the city.
This includes:
- Capacity Building to support third sector organisations to become self-sustaining, such as bid writing, project development, monitoring & evaluation, fund management
- Establishing strategic funding relationships; maximising funding opportunities available to Third Sector organisations to support Dundee City Plan priorities and Dundee Health and Social Care Partnership outcomes and to better the lives of people and communities across Dundee.
- Lobbying in relation to future funding; leading on external funding bids for third sector organisations; co-ordinating the development of project business plans as required; supporting and facilitating partnership bids within the Third Sector.
