Recovery Scotland is a charity dedicated to providing a range of recovery focussed services for people affected by addictions. We provide opportunities to help people change their addictive behaviours, engage with recovery communities and fulfil their aspirations.
We are looking to appoint an Assistant Recovery Worker to provide recovery focussed activities within North Lanarkshire.

You will be passionate and enthusiastic about recovery. If in recovery, we are looking for you to have had a minimum of six months stability from problematic substance use or addictive behaviours. You will have a good understanding of the impact that substance use can have on individuals, families and communities and you will be familiar with what works to promote and sustain recovery. An ability to work flexibly and creatively in motivating, supporting and encouraging people is essential.
This post requires an enhanced disclosure. Successful candidates must undertake a satisfactory Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Record for Restricted Work with Protected Adults.
