Contracts and Commissioning Manager
Sacro is a charity focused on its core business of supporting people in the justice system and helping them to find
paths to positive change.
We are looking for a talented manager to join our team to support and manage our tender, bid and contract
processes.
We work very closely with local authority commissioners and service and are contracted to deliver both statutory and
non-statutory services. We receive funding from Scottish Government for some activities and we deliver some
projects via partnerships and with funding from grants and trusts.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to coordinate and support the business development needs of our leaders and
managers, preparing compelling and relevant proposals, tenders and reports and ensuring the process of
developing bids is well managed according to our strategy and values.
You will develop and nurture relationships with funding stakeholders, providing a key link between them and the
relevant internal teams.
You could be from a commissioning or third sector background, but you should have a strong knowledge and experience
of tendering and procurement processes and ideally bidding process for grant and trust funders. You will be very
organised, and be able to work to tight deadlines
You will work across the organisation to support the development of accurate management information and contribute to
the evaluation and monitoring of outcomes and impacts. You will provide reports to the Leadership Team on the
progress of existing projects as well as new opportunities relevant to Sacro’s strategic plan.
You should be able to get to know people and the way we work quickly and bring confidence in our processes to the
team. Most importantly, you should share our values.
Sacro works across Scotland, and you can be based in a number of locations, but expect to travel sometimes as well as
hybrid working.
