Town Break is a local charity that provides support to people with lived experience of dementia and their carers throughout Forth Valley.
We provide an array of services and activities that meet the needs and interests of the communities we support, providing opportunities for people to get out, have fun, socialise and build friendships. Our vision is to inspire and enable people across Forth Valley to live well with dementia.
The Role:
As a Services Coordinator you will lead on sessions creating a safe and enjoyable space for people with lived experience of dementia enabling those using our services to engage in meaningful activities and to support carers in their role by providing signposting where needed keeping up to date with local support services, administration duties to include recording of accurate data to support reporting required for grant funders.

A driving license is desirable for the role as it may involve some travel throughout Forth Valley.

North Berwick Coastal Community Connections is a charity tackling social isolation in the North Berwick Coastal area. NBCCC has funding from the National Lottery Community Fund and the North Berwick Trust. We have five part-time members of staff working with over 40 volunteers and 100+ members.
Our services include the Scone Café weekly drop-in, Befriending, Buddy Walking, a monthly ‘Community Connections’ newsletter, Coffee Connections meet-ups and the Compassionate Community project on death, dying and bereavement.
We are currently recruiting for new Trustees to join the Board. We are particularly looking for a Secretary, Safeguarding Officer and Co-Chair, but roles are negotiable according to the candidate’s background and interests.
Trustees govern the charity. We aim to have a Board which covers the key areas in which we work, and we are now seeking to appoint additional Trustees who, ideally, have experience in any of the following areas:
- Small voluntary organisations
- Charitable Board trustee roles
- Safeguarding of vulnerable adults
That said, we also welcome applications from individuals with other relevant experience. Our Trustees have ultimate responsibility for the operation and development of the charity, including employability, compliance with legislation, fundraising, public relations and financial control.
This is an exciting time to join NBCCC as a Trustee as we launch new partnerships and explore new opportunities to help us respond to the ever-increasing demand for our support.
The principal responsibilities of a Trustee include attending and actively participating in regular Board meetings (usually held on a Tuesday evening, both virtually and face-to-face). Trustees bring their professional experience to help govern the charity and actively support the Project Manager. The time commitment required is a minimum of one day per month, including the Trustee meetings (of 1.5-2 hours per meeting). All Trustees are expected to share a passion and commitment to supporting socially isolated adults in the North Berwick Coastal area. Please note that this is voluntary, although reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.

Scottish Huntington’s Association is the only charity in Scotland dedicated exclusively to the care and support of families whose lives are impacted by Huntington’s disease, an incurable hereditary condition with severe physical, cognitive and mental symptoms. Our expertise is recognised at national and international levels and we work with funders including NHS, Scottish Government and health and social care partnerships across the country.
We seek a Head of Income Generation and Administration with a track record of leading and inspiring teams to maximise organisational income.
You will have experience of leading a Fundraising or Income Generation Team, including coaching, mentoring and support to enable colleagues to achieve individual and team targets.
With a strong knowledge of the charity sector, ideally working within health and social care, you will have the skills to secure and increase funding income from individual giving, community fundraising, corporate giving, trusts and grants, and statutory funding through service level agreements and tenders is a must.
Additionally you will bring strong financial understanding, a good eye for detail and the confidence to play a key role within our leadership team to drive forward change and improvement throughout the organisation and the sector.

Key Responsibilities
- To be the first point of contact for face to face, email or telephone supporter enquiries. Providing exemplary donor care through excellent written and oral communication to supporters, volunteers and internal and external stakeholders
- Manage all incoming mail, process donations, bank gifts and record gifts timely and accurately on our database
- Ensure each supporter is thanked for their donation, personalising their thank you as appropriate in order to nurture and maintain positive relationships
- Support donor events and fundraising activity sending any materials required to support successful fundraising
- Support a team of office volunteers, including providing training, day to day support, and ensuring the volunteers deliver a quality service and feel valued
- Work closely with a team of external volunteers to arrange cover for talks, cheque presentations and cash collection activities
About You
You will have excellent communication skills and will enjoy working cooperatively with colleagues. You will be committed to working with and supporting a strong team of volunteers. You will demonstrate initiative and the ability to prioritise, have a high level of accuracy, act with integrity and be accountable for your actions and decisions.
You will also have:
- HNC level qualification or equivalent in Administration or related discipline
- Relevant experience in an office and/or customer services environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Access to a car and full driving licence

We a seeking a people focussed all-trades maintenance assistant to support our Lead Maintenance Engineer in maintaining our building and outdoor spaces at our Rachel House Hospice set in beautiful grounds in Kinross, Perthshire & Kinross.
We have purpose designed health care buildings, play areas, areas for peaceful reflection, woodland trails and interactive spaces for children and families to enjoy the therapeutic nature of the outdoor spaces that we have to offer.
Key Responsibilities
Whilst maintaining the indoor environments in perfect order i.e. sensory rooms, therapy pools, bedrooms and kitchens, our maintenance assistant will enjoy working alongside and supporting colleagues such as gardeners and volunteers who tend to our outdoor spaces.
Given the nature of our healthcare environment the work will be varied and interesting with no two days the same however, duties will mostly consist of:
• All trades maintenance and contractor escorting duties
• Equipment/machinery maintenance
• Statutory maintenance checks e.g. therapy pool sampling and testing
• Outdoor space maintenance
About You
The successful candidate will have:
• Experience in supporting a variety of work repairs and tasks within a buildings operations/maintenance and outdoors spaces environment.
• The ability to work on your own initiative and have good communication skills.
• A flexible approach to working including occasional out of hours working and participation in out of hours emergency stand-by service
• Demonstrate experience and a genuine willingness to work alongside/supervise colleagues and volunteers to deliver great Estates & Facilities services for children and families.
• Knowledge of working within a healthcare environment is desirable. You may also undertake associated works across in other trade skills by multi skilling.
• Modern Apprenticeship qualification, in a relevant discipline, at SVQ Level 3 or above, or equivalent experience
• IOSH Working Safely in the Workplace
