Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans as part of the Network Engagement team, engaging with community groups and the wider public, to promote and connect with the National Cycle Network (NCN) and any new infrastructure project.

Reporting to the Network Delivery Community Engagement Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our engagement and delivery teams to ensure more people and engaged with the NCN.

You will build and manage databases of community groups, key individuals, and interest groups, co-creating and maintaining community stakeholder mapping with colleagues across the team, developing relationships with communities and individuals.

Duties will include offering creative input when designing, planning and delivering engagement activities. You will also compile reports and case studies of the engagement activities and promote other community support offered by Sustrans Scotland

This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans.

About you

You should have experience of planning and delivering activities around community engagement, with the ability to build relationships with ease across a wide range of people.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience in writing case studies and report writing.

We ask you demonstrate your ability in planning and prioritising your own workload.
