We are seeking a Citizen Advocacy Development Worker who has experience of providing support to individuals experiencing mental ill health. This post will focus on facilitating citizen advocacy partnerships in the southeast locality of Angus.

The candidate must have experience or interest in community development and supporting volunteers. It is essential they are committed to: Human Rights; Social Justice, and; the Principles, Standards & Code of Best Practice for Independent Advocacy.

We are looking for a person with excellent communication and IT skills, who can work independently and also as part of a team. The post is considered regulated work so is subject to membership of the PVG scheme. Access to a car and ability to travel throughout Angus and further afield is essential.
