This post supports the Head of Digital by leading on the design, development, delivery and measurement of website projects. This post sits within the Digital team and is responsible for the development and maintenance of Scottish Book Trust’s websites, including scottishbooktrust.com, readingschools.scot and other programme and internal sites.

The Website Manager role combines project management with expertise in areas including accessibility, content strategy, search engine optimisation (SEO) and analytics. The role oversees the web elements of the organisation’s digital roadmap and ensures projects are prioritised and delivered efficiently.

The Digital team sits within Marketing and the role will work closely with other team members including the Digital Officer, CRM Manager and Digital Marketing Manager. The post works with all teams across the organisation, helping staff to identify, scope and deliver website projects to ensure the continued impact of Scottish Book Trust’s programmes and activities.

With activities such as led rides, health walks, bike loan schemes, hands-on support and guidance for individuals, organisations and business, the Bothies are embedded in their locations to help people make active travel choices and feel confident walking, wheeling, and cycling in their local area.

The Traditional Buildings Health Check is a proactive building maintenance service operated by Stirling City Heritage Trust. We provide advice and inspection services to traditional property owners in Stirling. The service is expanding to provide energy efficiency and retrofit advice to traditional building owners and associated grants.

As Grants & Education Officer you will:

• Deliver the Trust’s grant initiative for retrofit for TBHC member properties.
• Assess grant applications, form recommendations, and manage an ongoing caseload of repair grants, including site visits and meetings with owners, building professionals and contractors.
• Produce high quality and timely reports for the Trust Manager and the Board regarding the retrofit grant scheme.
• Deliver events and training around retrofit for building owners and contractors.
• Work with local stakeholders and national agencies to stimulate understanding of the energy efficiency challenges of traditional buildings.

To meet this role the Trust is seeking an individual with the following:

• A degree or postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject such as architecture, building conservation, planning, or building surveying.
• Alternatively, you may have equivalent relevant work experience in the building conservation or heritage sectors.
• A proven track record in project delivery of conservation grant schemes and ideally experience of delivering outreach projects.
• Sound financial management experience and strong numerical skills.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to connect with a broad range of people including the public, building professionals and contractors.
• A team player who is also able to work effectively alone with minimum supervision.
• A passion for tackling climate change by helping traditional building owners improve the energy efficiency of their properties.

An amazing opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Fundraising Manager to join the team at the Edinburgh International Festival. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies to secure income from a range of sources including individuals, trusts and foundations, corporate sponsors and government grants.

To be successful in this role you will have strong project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and preferably experience in the not for profit or arts and cultural sector. You should also have experience in identifying and cultivating relationships with potential donors.

This role offers a hybrid model of working, with three days in the office in Edinburgh and two days from home. During the Festival period you will be expected to work full time from the office.
