Role
The Coalition for Racial Equality and Rights works to eliminate racial discrimination and harassment and to promote racial justice across Scotland. We are looking for an outstanding candidate to take overall responsibility for the smooth running of all aspects of our office, finances and operations management.
The successful candidate will have strong literacy and numeracy skills, previous office administrative experience and experience of dealing with finances and budgets. A high level of accuracy and consistent attention to detail is also required. In line with our overall mission, the successful candidate will also have a desire to make a real improvement to racial equality in Scotland.

The Board currently meet bi-monthly, with office bearers meeting in between board meetings. Meetings currently take place in the evening, online.

We’re looking for a new Chair to join the South East Integration Network board of trustees.
In this role, you will help shape the direction of the network and support SEIN to achieve its aims; connecting SEIN members, and furthering community integration activity in the south east of Glasgow (read Our Mission).
Becoming the new Chair
Now is an exciting time to become the Chair of SEIN as the organisation enters a new phase with active and growing membership. We have recently completed our 3 year strategy and welcomed 2 new board members.

- Training and development opportunities, particularly around leadership and charity governance.

Following a period of change and growth in our organisation, we are now looking to appoint a dynamic individual to the newly created post of Director of Operations. The successful candidate will help us drive forward innovation and delivery, both within the organisation and with our external projects and partners. This is an exciting time to join our dynamic, ambitious and responsive organisation, to help deliver solutions that support communities across Scotland.
We are looking for an individual who can bring both their creativity and operational management to develop the team and grow the organisation. Experience in the planning/placemaking, community development and/or third/social enterprise sectors would be beneficial. Experience or a demonstrable interest in planning or placemaking would be an advantage.
The post of Director of Operations will be responsible for:
- ensuring co-ordination of our workstreams across the organisation
- delivering our services, in collaboration with the Chief Executive and the staff team
- ensuring operational effectiveness
- leading the development of income generation for our social enterprise activities
- maintaining the quality of service delivery
- the development and implementation of organisational strategies, policies and practices

We currently inviting applications for a part time (21 hours a week) LGBTI Policy Officer.
We are looking to recruit a part-time Policy Officer to join our dedicated team working for LGBTI equality and rights. This will include developing policy positions, working with policy makers, influencers and the media, providing information on LGBTI issues, consulting LGBTI people and supporting LGBTI people to directly engage with policy makers.
