Role

We are looking to recruit a skilled, motivated and enthusiastic IT professional, with a customer focused attitude coupled with the ability to “get the job done”, adding real value to our IT team. Working within our Business Support IT team you will play a vital ‘first point of contact’ role, shaping the service provided to our internal customers.

Key responsibilities will include providing an outstanding customer focussed ICT support service to over 200 users across sites in Edinburgh and Fife. You’ll field support requests via e-mail, phone and in person. This varied role also involves maintaining our servers and networking infrastructure as well as supporting our older applications as they are phased out and replaced. This job is about more than just supporting our technology; it’s about empowering our people to get the most from it. You’ll recognise and respond sensitively to individual needs to ensure a quality service at all times.

You should have:

  • Ideally an ICT related qualification and or at least 2 years’ proven experience in a similar role.
  • Experience of supporting ICT and networks in multiple sites.
  • Outstanding communication and people skills.
  • A commitment to customer care and continuous improvement.
  • The ability to work independently and prioritise tasks.
  • Experience of supporting MS Office, Windows Server, Azure, MS SQL server
  • A full driving licence.

About us

Viewpoint Housing Association is a registered non-profit making organisation providing a range of general needs housing, supported housing and care services for older people in Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife.

The successful applicants will be required to complete a PVG check and Viewpoint will cover the PVG fee.
