We are seeking highly motivated, imaginative, and enthusiastic individuals, with a true commitment to personalisation, to join our established, integrated management team in Glasgow.

In addition to providing some direct support to individuals, the successful candidates will lead and manage a small team(s) of workers who provide personalised support to a number of individuals with a range support needs, gifts and talents. As part of our established and supportive management team, you will take a lead role in planning, co-ordinating and monitoring support to a number of people.

Our staff are our most important asset and as such we offer extensive training and development opportunities, including support to obtain relevant SSSC recognised qualifications.

The post includes evening and weekend working as well as support to local managers and other workers out with normal working hours.

The support we provide is always person-centred, trauma-informed and wellbeing focused. As a Support Worker, you’ll work as part of a team in providing safe, secure, supported accommodation for the people who use our services. You’ll do this by providing practical and emotional support and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives.

If successful, you will be required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council within 6 months of your start date. After registration, there is a requirement to be qualified and to maintain professional learning, which we will support you to achieve.

This service is an emergency accommodation unit within Glasgow city centre. It has 25 beds covering both Male and female age ranges 16-35.

This is a temporary role until 31/3/24.

Salary: £13,165 (£22,476,pro rata) per annum

Hours of Work: 20.5 per week

Working Pattern: Four week rolling rota 2/3 Night Shifts per week
