As a Peer Navigator with Change Grow Live, you’ll work with people who use our services, helping them get to where they want to be.
Responsibilities
Change Grow Live are a charity dedicated to the belief that we can make a difference to our Service Users lives, offering support and respect in a safe environment, treating each user as an individual and working with them to find the right treatment and care options.

As an Peer Navigator you will; support service users from point of entry into service and through their treatment/recovery journey; provide screening, assessment, recovery planning and onward referral; reduce drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community.

We are looking to appoint a Recovery Worker to provide a range of recovery focussed activities within the Stirling Council – Housing Services and to develop an effective Recovery Peer Mentoring support for individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in the community.
You will be passionate and enthusiastic about recovery. If in recovery, we are looking for you to have had a minimum of one year stability from problematic substance use or addictive behaviours. You will have a good understanding of the impact that substance use can have on individuals, families and communities and you will be familiar with what works to promote and sustain recovery. An ability to work flexibly and creatively in motivating, supporting and encouraging people in recovery is essential.
This post require an enhanced disclosure. Successful candidates must undertake a satisfactory Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Record for Restricted Work with Protected Adults.
