Role
The Project Co-Ordinator (Mentoring) will manage a small team of Youth Work Mentors, based in two secondary schools in Kirkcaldy.
In partnership with the schools, you will deliver a programme to engage and support vulnerable young people to increase their ability to sustain their attendance and improve their life chances through one-to-one mentoring support.
This role includes the management, planning and delivery of our “Active Kids” holiday programme which Kirkcaldy YMCA runs during school holidays at Easter, Summer and October breaks.
The Active Kids programme supports children aged 5-14 who are referred by agencies such as social work due to a number of risk factors.

We seek an experienced outdoor and multi-skilled senior youth development worker to support our Youth Vision team. This exciting post offers a unique opportunity to work with vulnerable young people in the nature-based informal education setting of our 18th Century restored farm steading in the Pentland hills. You will have experience of project management and lead facilitation with vulnerable young people, staff, and volunteers in the outdoor environment.
Working alongside the field manager you will support, develop, and run our programmes at our Steading and within the community. Experience of supporting funding strategies would be desirable.
The Role:
Support and work alongside Field Manager running and supporting all projects.
Responsibilities:
- Planning, organising and running groups at Threipmuir farm steading as well as in the community.
- Managing and supervising the facilitators and volunteers.
- Managing the evaluation of the projects, measuring, and disseminating the outcomes.
- Support staff in current funders and feedbacks.
- Producing monthly progress reports and attending appropriate meetings.
- Overseeing the delivery of outcomes, tracking of achievements and progression of young people, facilitators, and volunteers.
- Supporting Youth Vision’s Policies including child protection, safeguarding and risk assessment.
The Urban Fox Programme works with young people and families to deliver a range of youth engagement, peer mentoring, volunteering and certificated learning as well as supporting community events within 6 communities covering the North East and South Sectors of Glasgow.
In addition to this, The Urban Fox Programme is the lead partner responsible for employing a Capacity Building and Engagement Offer and holding associated funds. This is on behalf of the Voluntary Sector North East Glasgow (VSNEG) network.

Y Sort It are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic Youth Workers who are passionate about developing and delivering quality, engaging & fun youth work activities for children & young people across West Dunbartonshire. This will include our youth clubs, youth groups support, Streetbikes initiative and holiday programmes for those aged 8-18 years.
Your main role within the Youth Connections Team will be to plan, develop and deliver an exciting and engaging youth work programme including our established youth groups and youth work provision, which help achieve Y Sort It’s core values of support, connect and inspire.
This will include setting up, running projects, arranging workshops, organising training and events, providing activities to bring children & young people together.
You will work closely with children & young people, their families and any relevant partners, to ensure they are informed and supported to participate in any programmes, and any other community based activities.
The post holder should be flexible as the actual times of work will involve working evenings, school holidays and weekends. The Director of Programmes will support the Chief Executive and Board to ensure that Right There continues to innovate and improve our programmes by creating, implementing and delivering the best possible support for people whatever their situation.
With experience in leading high performing teams and delivering excellence, you will lead the strategic development and operational delivery of Right There’s programme of front-line services. Embedding best practice, you will ensure our programmes deliver the right support, in the right place, at the right time for people who need us most.
The Director of Programmes will play a critical role in building both our sustainability and reputation by maintaining, extending and expanding our programmes. Ensuring strong co-production to inform all programme design and development activities, you will play a direct role in ensuring everyone we work with has the opportunity to realise their potential and create a safe, supportive place to call home.
Working with people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness and children and families who are going through a difficult time, you will lead our colleagues across all programmes as they deliver our mission.
You will build strong, trusted relationships with colleagues and establish networks and relationships with a broad range of agencies, partners and stakeholders.
As an active member of the Leadership Team, the Director of Programmes will embody the values of Right There and work collaboratively and directly contribute to the development of strategies and operational plans that ensure the achievement of Right There’s key strategy priorities.
NB: As an organisation Right There embrace agile working and whilst their headquarters are in Glasgow, they have programmes across Scotland. The successful candidate would be expected to visit our programmes and there is not a requirement that they would need to be based full-time in Glasgow.
