Intercultural Youth Scotland (IYS) are a grassroots, youth-led organisation supporting and advocating for young Black people and young people of colour in Scotland. We offer specialist support to Black and POC young people and advocate across Scottish Government for their voices to be heard. IYS' services include a fully-fledged youth and music program; an education program delivering anti-racism education in secondary schools; a mental health program offering free support to young Black people and People of Colour; as well as the Restless Natives employability program which the Restless Natives Manager will lead.

Restless Natives offers holistic, specialist support to Black and POC young people and school leavers to help them become work-ready, reach positive destinations, or move into further and higher education. Restless Natives also supports employers to ensure that they’re doing all they can to improve their workplaces for young Black people and young People of Colour. Join our Restless Natives team as manager to lead the delivery and development of our Restless Natives employability programme.

The Restless Natives Manager is responsible for the management of the delivery of the current Restless Natives programme in Edinburgh and Glasgow, leading a small team of practitioners. The Restless Natives Manager plays a key role in helping to establish employability partnerships and advocating for the needs of Black and POC young people to governing bodies. While the Restless Natives program in its current state has been running for two years, we are keen to take the program to new heights – we want to build a long-term, sustainable infrastructure to support Black and POC young people in becoming work-ready and improving their lives.

We seek an experienced outdoor and multi-skilled senior youth development worker to support our Youth Vision team. This exciting post offers a unique opportunity to work with vulnerable young people in the nature-based informal education setting of our 18th Century restored farm steading in the Pentland hills. You will have experience of project management and lead facilitation with vulnerable young people, staff, and volunteers in the outdoor environment.

Working alongside the field manager you will support, develop, and run our programmes at our Steading and within the community. Experience of supporting funding strategies would be desirable.

The Role:

Support and work alongside Field Manager running and supporting all projects.

Responsibilities:

• Planning, organising and running groups at Threipmuir farm steading as well as in the community.
• Managing and supervising the facilitators and volunteers.
• Managing the evaluation of the projects, measuring, and disseminating the outcomes.
• Support staff in current funders and feedbacks.
• Producing monthly progress reports and attending appropriate meetings.
• Overseeing the delivery of outcomes, tracking of achievements and progression of young people, facilitators, and volunteers.
• Supporting Youth Vision’s Policies including child protection, safeguarding and risk assessment.

The Traverse Theatre is currently looking for an experienced, inspiring and creative Development Manager who can hit the ground running, supporting the strategic expansion of the Theatre’s individual giving programme, the trust and foundation fundraising portfolio and who can provide an imaginative approach to engaging with the corporate sector through sponsorship, donations, and creative partnerships.

Typical duties include: managing a compelling case for support to increase income generation; overseeing and undertaking research to identify new potential donors, trusts, foundations and corporate supporters; managing the implementation of a successful strategy for individual giving; utilising data and insights to support the development of ambitious targets for income generation; supporting and overseeing timely reporting to funders; and managing relationships with donors, supporters, trusts, foundations and corporate supporters.

The successful candidate will have strong experience of third-sector fundraising, outstanding project management skills, be a creative thinker with problem solving skills, and be an inspiring team player with leadership experience.

This is a full-time, permanent position. A probationary period of 6 months is applicable. Hours of work are 40 per week and are flexible in line with the needs of the organisation.

Rock Trust are delighted to be investing additional capacity within their Service Management Team. We are looking for three passionate and experienced Service Managers to lead our services in Edinburgh, Perth and Glasgow and to help us ensure that every young person in these regions have access to youth specific services to help them avoid, resolve and move on from homelessness. The primary function of these roles is the effective management and delivery of our frontline services and development activities, leading our service team to ensure that we provide quality services and reach our key targets. These key management roles will support the Assistant Directors to implement strategy, ensuring that regulatory standards are met, and policies and procedures are implemented.

The post holder will be expected to:

• Play a leading role in the development of our Services
• Lead and manage a team of high performing service delivery staff
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with key partners
• Manage resources, reporting and quality of services
