Responsibilities of the Role:

• Deliver Outdoor Learning in Primary Schools including John Muir & RSPB Awards
• Deliver Health and Wellbeing and Family Learning Sessions, both in Primary Schools and at the Tullochan Training Academy
• Deliver tailored support to young people aged 16-25 to help them progress positively into employment, education or training
• Conduct Soft-skills assessment and action planning using a range of tools and methods to assess the needs of service users and support them to create an action plan that supports progression.
• Work towards achievement of project targets in relation to engagement, participation and progression.
• Maintain high level of monitoring, evaluation and reporting for ‘16-25’ and ‘Schools’ projects.

Requirements of the Role:

• Proven experience working with young people delivering group work sessions to a high standard.
• Experience supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged young people to overcome a range of barriers.
• Experience delivering outdoor learning would be desirable, enthusiasm for working outdoors with young people is essential
• A confident motivated individual, comfortable working outdoors in all weathers and an interest in wildlife.
• Excellent communication skills, excellent IT and organisational skills
• Ability to maintain and develop partnerships with a wide range of organisations
• A Driving Licence is highly desirable as travel to different locations within West Dunbartonshire and Argyll & Bute areas will be required in the role
• A flexible working attitude as assistance with our Social Enterprises may be required occasionally

Kinross-shire Youth Enterprise (KYTHE) is a vibrant Christian youthwork non-profit organisation. An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Fundraising Lead to join the fun-loving team at KYTHE. This is your opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of young people in your area, sourcing the funds which will continue to enable KYTHE to provide their services in your community. The new Fundraising Lead will be responsible for the development of all Fundraising elements across KYTHE. They will identify, investigate, create and manage a portfolio of high-impact potential and actual donors and charitable trusts. Funding will be sought from individual donors, churches, major gifts, foundations and philanthropic businesses.

KYTHE’s next Fundraising Lead should be an experienced Fundraiser, ideally from a Trusts & Grants background, but they are also open to experience in other areas of Fundraising. If you are a strategic thinker and operator, with an understanding of, and an empathy with, the values and the identity of KYTHE then this is the ideal opportunity for you. This role will involve the engagement and oversight of fundraising volunteers, so a natural leader would be ideal for the position. The successful candidate should also be outgoing, engaging and able to communicate clearly. The successful candidate will possess a full, clean driving license and have access to a car. Y sort it Care Connections programme aims to support care experienced young people aged between 10-16 years, within West Dunbartonshire. This exciting post offers a unique opportunity to work with Care Experienced Young People within school, home & community based settings.The role of the Care Connections Support Worker will be to provide support appropriate to care experienced young people’s learning needs, raising attainment by providing a supportive pathway throughout the young person’s school life and beyond.

You will be active at providing support and encouragement, helping them to overcome challenges and /or barriers working towards goals to improve their learning, skills and personal development.

Care Connection Support Workers will be the #Keeping The Promise leads, work with young people currently accessing Y Sort It services who are care experienced.

Offering guidance, rights based information, creating learning opportunities. You will be developing support plans, providing advice and information, training and peer support. Your role will be to work closely with schools, partner agencies and family members.

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team. Y sort it Young Carers Service supports young carers/ young adult carers aged between 8-18 years across West Dunbartonshire.

This exciting post offers a unique opportunity to work with Young Carers within school, home & community based settings. The role of the Young Carer Support Workers will be to support young carers in making informed choices around issues that are important to them, through one to one, group work sessions & respite.

You will be offering and completing assessments, developing support plans, providing advice and information, training, and peer support to help young carers with their caring role.

Young carers are supported through a range of measures to alleviate the caring role and your role will be to work closely with schools, partner agencies and family members to ensure they are able to be a young person first and foremost.

The post holder should be flexible as the actual times of work will involve working, evenings, school holidays and weekends. The post holder should be flexible as the actual times of work may change to respond to the demands of the work of the Young Carers Service including overnight stays for respite.
