Would you like to be part of an established, pro-active charity team making a difference to over 200 hundred families in Renfrewshire and Inverclyde? We are now recruiting for a Funding Officer to become a key player in our talented and enthusiastic team.

Home-Start Renfrewshire and Inverclyde (HSRI) is a federated charity, part of Home-Start UK. As a registered charity, with its own Board of Trustees, HSRI is responsible for securing its own funds, to cover the cost of running the services delivered locally. We provide volunteer led, person centred, non-judgmental support to families with at least one child aged under five. We work alongside families to improve family life and help the children achieve their potential. Our approach is non-judgmental, building parental self-esteem and strengthen social networks.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys working as part of a close knit and friendly team.
  • Is comfortable with changing priorities and able to balance a number of conflicting demands
  • Has an interest in building our charity’s profile through outreach and networking.
  • Is self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative.
  • Has experience of working with CRM databases, extracting data for reporting purposes.
