Regenfx Youth Trust have established the first ever visible Youth Recovery Service for 13 – 25yr olds affected by alcohol & substance use in South Lanarkshire.

At The GIVIT we use a blend of Youth Work, rapid access to CBT Counselling with a fully supported Recovery Model.

We need more YOUTH NAVIGATORS skilled in providing 1 to 1 support for young people participating in the service. You must be able to build solid relationships with young people based on trust, mutual respect, care and compassion. You will need to be a natural motivator who can work with a caseload effectively.

This is a 7-day a week service that includes some evening & weekends. All work is done in person we have no working from home arrangements.

We are particularly interested in people with experience in Youth Work, Recovery Field or people who have experienced recovery themselves, but most importantly, people who are genuinely interested in young people.

Experience of working with young people and successfully engaging them in services is desirable. A good knowledge of problematic alcohol and drug use and or experience in the Recovery Field is desirable.

GoTo Mental Health Service for 14 – 21yr olds is based in South Lanarkshire was established in 2019. We are an early intervention service for young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues.

This is a partnership between Regenfx Youth Trust and Liber8 Lanarkshire. We have a small staff team that includes the Project Co-ordinator & CBT Counsellor.

GoTo uses a unique blend of Youth Work, rapid access to Counselling and CBT Interventions to prevent the escalation of poor mental health in young people. Our programme is flexible to meet the needs of our young people in time, spaces and places that suit them. Some evenings and occasional weekend working would be expected. All work is done in person, and we have no working from home arrangements.

Although we have one year funding left, we will use our evidence-based evaluations to approach other funders to extend the life of the project.

We need someone with a Youth Work background and sound knowledge of mental health issues that affect young people today.

As the Youth Support Worker, you will hold a caseload providing 1 to 1 support for participants and deliver appropriate groupwork sessions that encourage engagement with peers that will help reduce isolation.

Your responsibilities will also include recruiting and supporting volunteers on to our Youth Advisory Panel and creating opportunities for co-production of services.

The successful applicant will have a proven track record in working with young people. For this post you will be employed by Regenfx Youth Trust.

Venture Scotland offers an outdoor-based personal development programme which empowers young people aged 16-30, who face complex and difficult challenges in their lives and want help to change.

We are seeking an Outreach and Support Worker, who identifies with our values of Trust, Respect, Diversity, Inclusion, Environment and Personal Development, to recruit and support a diverse range of young people into and through our programmes and on to positive destinations following graduation.

The job will also include building a network of local referrers, public speaking to interested groups, staff teams and funders, presenting our programmes in engaging and creative ways to young people interested in joining our programmes and supporting them on their journey with Venture Scotland and beyond.

The Project Worker post is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund to deliver the Stepping Stones project in the Berwickshire area, working alongside youth work partners across the Scottish Borders.

Stepping Stones Project Worker supports young people aged 10-18 in their communities, with the aim of improving their emotional health and wellbeing, and life chances. The Project Worker will provide universal support to each young person based on their personal needs, helping them to achieve their full potential and to develop skills through non-formal education activities within a universal youth work setting.

The Project Worker will offer responsive and high-quality support young people on topics such as emotional health, wellbeing, confidence, transition, anxiety, life-skills cyber-bullying and relationships by offering tailored one-to-one support, targeted small group sessions and activities. The project also supports young people to engage with training, volunteering, youth achievement awards, social action and joint activities with other youth groups in the Scottish Borders.

The post holder will ensure that an individual support plan is developed in partnership with each young person.

Ensuring that we work closely with YouthBorders and in partnership with other local and statutory partners to ensure better outcomes for young people.
