We are looking for a highly motivated, person-focused individual to join the team at Angus Independent Advocacy (AIA).
The main aim of the post is to support parents who are facing barriers to:
Support with predominately be provided via 1:1 independent advocacy, but there will also be the opportunity to explore collective advocacy to influence the development of local services.
It is essential that the postholder is committed to: Human Rights; Social Justice; and, the Principles, Standards & Code of Best Practice for Independent Advocacy.
We are looking for a person with excellent communication and IT skills, who can work independently and also as part of a team.
The post is considered regulated work so is subject to membership of the PVG scheme. Access to a car and ability to travel throughout Angus is essential.
