We are looking for someone who is passionate about interpreting data, bringing it alive, making it understandable. You will have a good understanding of research and evaluation within applied social settings. You'll be able to show how our programmes make a difference in infant, child, perinatal, maternal and paternal mental health, and parent child interaction. You will have a great understanding and working knowledge of Qualtrics and Excel, and be an enthusiastic team player.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will lead, develop, resource and manage programmes of service delivery.

3D Drumchapel is a Charity which has been working with children and families in Drumchapel and surrounding areas for 25 years. We journey with children, families and communities to build strong foundations for families to thrive. We aim to strengthen family relationships, support parents to be the best parents they can be, improve family health & wellbeing, support children's development and build capacity in communities for family support delivery. Our services include a perinatal programme, parent & child sessions, parenting programmes, learning & development sessions, outdoor play, peer support groups, 1-1 support, family support in schools and practical support including Bairn Necessities which redistributes clothing and equipment for 0-5 years. We also lead the Drumchapel Children & Families Network which brings together children & families, third sector, social work, health, education, police and housing to work together to improve outcomes for children and families in Drumchapel.

The role

Our Programme Manager role is a new role to lead, develop, resource and manage programmes of service delivery in accordance with 3D’s strategic objectives to improve outcomes for children and families. For specific service delivery streams, the role is to lead and manage a delivery team, monitor evaluate & assess impact (review, reflect & plan), develop programmes & services, set & manage budgets, secure funding and report on funds spent, engage in local networks & work in partnership with local agencies and facilitate & implement systems, policies and procedures. One of our two Programme Manager posts is currently vacant following a management restructure.

We have an exciting opportunity for a family focused, warm friendly, resourceful and empathetic individual to join our newly extended Disability Service as a Family Worker.

About Options Fife

At Options Fife we have been providing person centred services to children and young people with a learning disability and/or Autism for over 25 years. Our new Family Workers will enhance the existing provision offered, enabling whole family support for children and families with complex learning needs.

What we are looking for....

As a Family Worker, you will offer emotional and direct practical help to families experiencing short- or long-term challenges. You will work with families; identifying areas where support is required, working with them to co-produce a family support plan which will be individually tailored to their child’s and family’s needs. You will agree outcomes and personal goals within the child’s plan.

The role of the Family Worker will be diverse and wide ranging and will include the following:

• Promote and develop healthy routines, including sleep.
• Provide practical support with personal care.
• Support the development of play routines.
• Support parents to address difficulties and reduce risks
• Build upon parents existing knowledge and equip them with enabling strategies and tools.
• Support families to have positive and rewarding relationships.
• Support families to implement structure, identify triggers and understand the function and purpose of their child’s behaviour and reduce challenges from escalating.
• Along with families, liaise and work with partners and colleagues from Social Work, Health and Education to assess, review and evaluate progress.
• You will have experience of supporting children and families with a learning disability and Autism. You will have up-to-date knowledge of best practice and supporting tools and interventions.

You will manage your own diary, and your hours will be 37.5 per week, worked flexibly between 7am and 10pm, Monday to Sunday. The days and hours worked will be agreed with families within the family support plan. There may also occasionally be a need to provide additional support out with these times and to be able to respond to crises and family stress. The current salary for this post is £12,928 per annum however we are expecting a 10% cost of living increase in April.
