We are looking for a pro-active, reliable and creative Education & Training Lead to join our Wave service. Established by Waverley Care, Wave service provides sexual health and relationship information and education to people under 25 across Highland.
This is an exciting time to work at Waverley Care as we strive to reach the goal of zero HIV transmissions in Scotland by 2030. The post holder will play a key role in day-to-day management of our Wave service for young people, as well as provide oversight of our professional education and training services across Highland and Argyll & Bute.
We are looking for someone who has experience in delivering education and training (both in person and online) focused on health promotion, and is used to working with vulnerable groups, including young people, LGBTQ+ communities and those living with health inequalities.
You will be comfortable working with multiple partners at any one time, with strong attention to detail and great organisational skills. You will have experience in managing and supporting staff, as well as an interest in helping evaluate and develop services as required.
You will have great communication skills and enjoy building relationships with young people, partners, funders and colleagues both locally and across Scotland. Ability to travel across Highland and Argyll & Bute is required.
