KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Senior Care Manager you will:
- develop and manage the day to day Community Transport service
- identify and organise appropriate training for volunteers & staff
- recruit, support and manage volunteer’s
- research and secure appropriate grant funding
- ensure GDT Transport services operates efficiently and with a Low carbon footprint
- keep GDT Transport services abreast of eco policies and practices ensuring the fleet is reducing carbon emissions safely and efficiently through eco driving
- ensure maintenance and schedule checks in line with regulations.
- liaise with and encourage work with other relevant bodies appropriate to the post
- market and promote the the service Work directly with colleagues across the entire service ensuring full access to transport services.
- ensure all health and safety aspects are complied with
- keep records, monitor and evaluate the programme in line with the requirements of the principal funders and GDT
- carry out any other duties appropriate to the post

- Organising regular weekly led Cycles/walks in various areas within Glenboig and surrounding villages
- Record keeping and evaluation of the programme
- Taking bookings for our e-bike scheme
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- To develop and manage a programme of led cycles/walks, approved by the GDT Children & Families Co-ordinator
- To identify and organise appropriate training for volunteers
- To recruit, support and manage volunteer’s
- To investigate new cycling/walking routes and grade them accordingly
- To liaise with and encourage work with other relevant bodies appropriate to the post
- To market and promote the cycling/walking programme
- To ensure all health and safety aspects are complied with

Established in 2010 to deliver sustainable development for the community of Coigach, we have achieved numerous successes to date, most notably the construction of a community owned wind turbine, which provides a healthy income stream for investment in our community. This new role will report directly to CCDC’s Board of Directors and be responsible for the line management of CCDC’s two part time Local Development Officers (LDOs) and contractors engaged for specific project delivery. The post will also work closely with CCDC’s partners, including many local organisations, and across the wider community.
Candidates will have demonstrable experience in a strategic, leadership role. You will have proven ability in managing significant budgets and developing successful funding bids, and be committed to ensuring the continuous improvement of the organisation. A passion for securing positive change for local communities is essential, and you will be adept at building positive relationships with the local community and other key partners and stakeholders. Manager - Lend a Hand Project

Beith Trust is a North Ayrshire based charity working to improve the social, economic and environmental condition of Beith, Barrmill and the surrounding countryside for residents, visitors and nature alike. You will be responsible for improving systems, efficiency and the ‘bandwidth’ of the project as well as developing external links partnerships.
You will be accountable for the safety of volunteers, attendees and the quality and success of the project as well as line management of Project Leads, you will oversee project comms, health and safety, monitoring and evaluation and ensuring that delivery of activities is successful and safe. You will be responsible for evaluating delivery and project impact as well as the ongoing design of the project to ensure a high quality participant / customer / attendee experience. You will be required, at times, to work weekends and evenings.
As Lend a Hand Project Manager you will develop and improve our existing provision, line manage staff and ensure that our clients and volunteers experience a high quality service. You will expand the reach and develop networks and partnerships that deepen the impact for clients and the effectiveness of the service

UTHEO is a non-profit organisation that provides a range of services within our busy neighbourhood centre in Bellshill.
Our BeFriend in Bellshill project supports older and disabled adults who are lonely, isolated and vulnerable within the local community. We require an enthusiastic person to join our small, dedicated and successful team to support the work of the project with specific responsibilities to manage, develop and coordinate the project’s group work and telephone, visit and take befriendees on short local outings. You should have a genuine interest in and an understanding of our work, working with and supporting people; experience of administrative and office procedures, good organisational and communication skills, have competent office IT skills an understanding of the voluntary sector.
