Role

Do you want to work for a caring organisation that believes in people?

Do you want to make a difference?

As a Support Worker with Change Grow Live, you’ll work with people who use our services, helping them get to where they want to be.

Responsibilities

Change Grow Live Edinburgh Recovery Services provides recovery focused psychosocial interventions to service users experiencing drug and alcohol related issues across the city of Edinburgh. We work within a hub model with partners who include NHS Lothian, CEC Social Work and other voluntary agencies to ensure individualised packages of care to enable service users to achieve their recovery goals.

We are looking for an experienced and proactive support worker to join our team, to assist in provision of high-quality delivery of recovery focused interventions to service users across Edinburgh. The services are delivered from our office, based at Wester Hailes Healthy Living Centre and on an outreach basis in a variety of venues across the localities that we cover. Support is provided in one to one and groupwork settings.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working within a related field. Also necessary is a commitment to multi-agency working, excellent communication skills, and a practical approach to facilitating service user involvement.
