Feniks. Counselling, Personal Development and Support Services Ltd. is a charity providing support to the Central-East European Community in Edinburgh.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Services Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing a range of community development projects aimed at supporting the Central and Eastern European community in Edinburgh.

The Community Services Manager will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the delivery of a range of Community Support Services
  • Providing support and supervision to staff members delivering frontline community
  • services
  • Cultivating the existing partnerships and building relationships with community groups, local authorities, and other stakeholders
  • Monitoring and evaluating the progress of work against agreed Key Performance Indicators
  • Collating performance information on Community Support Services and using those to report to funders
  • Working alongside the Mental Health Services Manager, together forming the Feniks Senior Management Team
  • Reporting directly to the Feniks CEO

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field such as social work, community development, or education
  • At least 5 years' experience in community development or a related field
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to think strategically and develop effective plans and programmes
  • A passion for working with and supporting diverse communities
