Operations Manager

  • 19 Academy Street, Inverness, with some home working as appropriate. You will require access to your own transport to travel to different locations and meetings.

We are looking to recruit an excellent leader to our new post of Operations Manager, reporting to our CEO to support our current work and planned developments.

You will have senior management experience of working in the third sector or previous experience of working in public sector roles, with a background in supporting mental health or suicide prevention services/provision. You will be a compassionate, non-judgemental individual who wants to make a positive difference to other people’s lives.

Your senior management achievements to date will ensure that you can confidently and supportively manage and develop people and have an interest in and previous experience of helping to shape, develop and expand new high quality and existing services.

In this role you will also play a key role in the ongoing development of policies and guidelines for staff and in reviewing and delivering as appropriate, some of the core training for Mikeysline’s staff and volunteer group.

A confident speaker and presenter, you will also have a key role in developing new partnerships with organisations through delivering presentations and workshops to promote the role of Mikeysline and to raise awareness of the importance of mental health, wellbeing and suicide prevention.

In summary, the ideal candidate will have excellent leadership, management and communication skills, be able to work with others as part of a team and have previous knowledge and experience of working in mental health services.
