CrossReach is one of the largest voluntary sector social care agencies in the country. Each year we provide emotional and practical support to over 25,000 people from across Scotland, making a real difference to the lives of those who are most in need.
Working within our Children & Families directorate, this role represents an exciting and rewarding opportunity to guide and shape our services for children with disabilities, which includes the Mallard short breaks and GO2 community-based services and our Daisy Chain Family Wellbeing service. Taking a lead on improvement and development and through the line management of Team Leaders, you will:
• Ensure our services meaningfully listen to and involve children, young people and families
• Support and develop a culture of learning and transparency
• Oversee all aspects of service delivery, ensuring financial, quality, health and safety, regulatory targets and performance measures are achieved
• Work collaboratively and in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
Passionate about ensuring the children, young people and families are heard and able to influence the services and support they receive, you are a relational leader with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage change. You’ll be ambitious to find the best solution and have a track record of working collaboratively to deliver impactful services. You’re also able to manage a competing working load to successfully deliver a broad remit in an environment where priorities can quickly change. As well as proven management experience within social work or equivalent related field (eg health or community work), we’re also looking for a sound knowledge of residential care and an understanding of multi-site/multi-team management.
Our benefits package includes an employer contributory pension, generous holiday allowance and a comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme and Employee Discount Scheme. Alongside opportunities to develop your professional knowledge and skills, including a leadership development programme, we also offer a supportive team and a therapeutic learning culture (eg through the provision of reflective practices).
